Bankruptcy Toll Increases

More than 12,500 individuals and businesses filed for bankruptcy in Illinois in the first quarter of this year, a 27.2 percent jump over the year-earlier period that mirrors a national trend.

We rarely cover red carpets as frankly we are almost never interested in anyone that traverses them. But last night at the CFDA 2008 Fashion Awards we had plenty to be interested in as it was the real celebrities of our world, the designers, that were doing most of the preening. But there is an unfortunate trend for red carpets at fashion events.

The latest trend in Tollywood and Kollywood for heroines is to have at least one bikini scene in all their films. It was Nayantara who ushered in the craze for bikinis with her hot bikini scene in a Tamil film.
